Serving Christ and sharing the Gospel

Our groups for children and young people take place on the first, third and fourth Sundays of each month during the 10:30am Family Service.

Children leave the church service after the first hymn and have age-appropriate Bible teaching, activities and games in the Church halls. We return to church at the end of the service, when the children and young people share with the rest of the congregation what they have been doing. We now have four Sunday School groups at St Michael’s:

  • Creche – for babies and children aged under 3.
  • Scramblers – for children aged 3 to the end of school year 1.
  • Explorers – for children in school years 2 to 5.
  • Pathfinders – for young people in school years 6 to 9.

Please contact our Children and Families’ Minister, Gemma-Louise Piggott for further information, and we look forward to welcoming your children and young people to St Michael’s.

Our Parish Safeguarding Representative is Amanda Clark (07956 460493) and our Diocese’s Safeguarding Policy can be viewed here.
